07 Odyssey or 04 Sienna??

I currently have a 07 Odyssey, with 160k miles. Runs fine. Changed all fluids. The paint isn't the best, you can see some spots it's chipping off. Timing belt water pump recently changed.

I also have a 04 sienna, with a blown head gasket. 220k miles. Engine has no blowby, and starts up fine runs fine.

**Would you keep the odyssey or sell it to fix the sienna**? I did try blue devil in the sienna, does that usually ruin the engine?

**Also have a question on the odyssey, I have an issue it vibrates feels like a shudder when driving. Mostly noticeable when accelerating fast. Going up hills very noticeable. But also still often feel it when I let go of the pedal. I checked cv axles they have no play in them. And my tie rods ball joints are all fine no play in tires when jack it up** I hear clunking often when driving, going over rough roads, bumps. But always thought it was the struts making that noise. Could it be the cv axles? I don't hear any clunking when turning the wheel side to side. Only when driving on rough roads, bumps.**

I did notice the trans fluid on the odyssey was changed at 60k miles then 90k miles, then i recently did a drain and refill at 150k miles

I could probably sell my odyssey for 2k-2500

And I know someone who will do the head gasket for $600 plus parts around $300

If the sienna has no blowby at all does that mean the compression is good. Odyssey also has 0 blowby

I always thought if the engine sounds fine, runs fine and has 0 blowby.  Then that means the compression is cherry. And engine good shape. If I'm wrong lmk ty

I'm in a position where I can keep the odyssey or sell it to fix the sienna. As my funds are very tight Would need to sell it in order to fix the sienna.

Appreciate the help

Neither prospect sounds all that enticing. It needs to be determined what is likely the "least worst".

Most of us here do not recommend such snake oil "mechanic in a can/bottle" products. That stuff frequently does not work (as is apparently the case here) and can clog up your engine's cooling system.

How experienced at major engine repairs is the "someone" you got the quote from? Does the quote include checking the cylinder head for warpage and cracking, and repairs at a machine shop if needed? (Or, for that matter, cleaning up the debris left by Blue Devil?)

Or, what if due to oil and antifreeze mixing because of the head gasket leak, the engine bearings have been damaged?

Why not check it and be sure?

A common weak point in old Hondas per Scotty is weak automatic transmissions. Ditto for air conditioning. However if the trans in the Odyssey has been maintained (sounds like it has) and is working properly it's probably best to keep that instead of taking a chance on a bargain-basement, possibly sketchy head gasket job on the Sienna that could easily go sideways.

As far as the vibration in the Odyssey, being 18 years old it could be a lot of things. It could even be tires. Determining the cause is going to take some troubleshooting. You should rule out the vibration coming from the transmission before making a final decision.

@chucktobias

I really appreciate all your help ty

And actually trans fluid on odyssey was changed at 85k miles, then again at 91k miles. And I just did it at 159k miles
