Hey Scotty,
I have a family member selling his mother's 2009 VW Jetta 2.5 L with 96,000 miles, manual trans, no codes and everything works. I may be able to get it for about $2000 - $3000. I need a cheap car so is this worth it? I live in upstate NY.

Nope! VW started making cars in Mexico and Brazil and the quality is absolutely dismal. It will be a money pit.
