I have a 1988 corvette, I filled it up last week then it started leaking all its gasoline, there was a puddle of gasoline under the engine, the fuel lines and gas tank have no problems, so why is gasoline leaking

why is gasoline leaking
Just a wild guess, but maybe deteriorated 36-year old seals in the fuel system?
