1989 Honda Civic DX Engine Shut-off in Gear and Possibly Torn Oil Pan

Hello from Southern California Scotty,

I've got a 1989 Honda Civic DX Hatchback with over 150k miles on it, 1.5L 4 Cylinder, Automatic. I'm the 3rd owner now and recently had all the motor mounts, a tie rod end on the passenger side, and bad coolant hose replaced, also got new tires on it too since the old ones were almost 7 years old. The other day I went to go start my Honda and I realized I accidentally left the lights on. The car started right up with no problems, but when I put the car in Reverse the whole car began to shake back and forth, and the engine was revving up and down. After about 10 seconds the car completely shut off. The same thing would happen in any gear I put it in besides Park, even with the E-brake engaged or disengaged. I got the car towed home and tried starting it again, and had no problems  driving it back and forth a little in my driveway, and turning a little. I did notice that underneath the very front there was oil leaking and saw that the splash guard and possibly the oil pain had some small holes torn in the plastic, likely because the car is lower to the ground and I may have gone over a speed bump or a dip in the street too quickly. I do know that the car does need a new EGR valve, but I'm worried I may have something worse than just a torn oil pan and a bad EGR valve. Any ideas? Thanks!

well you can have a numerable problems but really if you left the lights on and drained the battery if the battery gets too low of a parameter of voltage car can go not so have the battery low tested first and the alternator check too

Thanks for the reply Scotty! I got the battery and alternator tested by AAA and the technician said it was fine. I just looked at the results they emailed me after they tested the car and turns out it says the Alternator has no output! Thanks again.
