Dear Scotty, love your channel. I have a 1994 Toyota pickup extra cab 4x4 standard transmission with 22r engine approaching 250,00 miles.
I change the oil every 5000 miles or less and change the fuel filter at least annually.
Between 2 and 3 thousand rpms acceleration drastically reduces. Before and after it's still quite peppy.
All scan codes have been addressed, and none have seemed to pertain to the issue.
Any idea what's going on, and what I might do about it?

It might help to know what was 'addressed'.

Check the live data for STFT and LTFT at 2500 rpm & see if anything stands out.
There haven't been any codes since the issue started. I have it scanned every 2nd or 3rd oil change and take care of whatever comes up.
Now it lopes... regular idle for several seconds and then drop in rpm then back up to regular idle. No one can figure out what's going on. It's worse when the brakes are on, but no vaccuum leak can be found, and it doesn't do it in neutral with the clutch out.

It's a 1994 vehicle, OBD1 - no live data available, just a relatively small set of codes. Old-school methods, such as checking spark plug condition to determine running lean or rich, are needed. My bet would be an issue with a vacuum-operated emissions gadget or the ignition advance curve. (I don't know whether the distributor has mechanical and/or vacuum advance or whether timing is electronically controlled on that model.)

Sheesh sorry! I know better.. got a '96 Tacoma myself, thanks @chucktobias
Thanks for all the input guys. I live in the middle of nowhere, and there's not a toyota guy within 50 miles of me.
It's my only vehicle at the moment, but I'm getting a new one soon.
I'll be able to drop it with someone long enough for them to spend the time they need then, I guess.
