Hello there, I got a 1995 Toyota Celica GT with the 2.2 liter 5SFE engine with the 5 speed manual transmission and one day I went to start the car it started up I moved it out of the way of my dads vehicle in the driveway let it sit and warm up since I needed to leave later I went inside of my house for 2-5 minutes came back outside and the car wasn't running went to restart it and just cranked and wouldn't start. I then started to do some trouble shooting I checked some fuses for the fuel system all were good the EFI relay clicks I tried spraying some starting fluid into the intake while I had my dad crank the engine to no avail so I went to check spark I removed cylinder 1 spark plug and out the spark plug wire on it then grounded it to the throttle cable mount while my dad cranked the engine and when my dad cranked the engine it sounded like it wanted to start so I put cylinder 1 spark plug back in put the plug wire back on and my dad cranked it and the car started we then used that opportunity to get the car in the garage so we put it in the garage and cut the engine I had a new OEM fuel filter for it at the time so I decided to replace it so I pulled the EFI fuse and cranked the engine to relive pressure during that cranking the car did not start so after doing that i replaced the fuel filter and cleaned the ground for the igniter after putting everything back together I went to start it and it started and ran for about 15 minutes until I shut it off thinking it was somehow fixed I went to do something else and when I came back to the car I tried to start it and it just cranked and didn't start I then tried again and it sorta started it was idling quite low and when i hit the gas pedal to bring it higher the car just died so that was enough for the day so the next day i did more troubleshooting i listened to all the injectors they are all firing i pulled all spark plugs and they all smelled of gas so combine that with not starting with starting fluid i think the fuel system is working i checked the timing on the engine and the engine is in time i tested spark by grounding plug and plugging it into the wire as stated prior on all wires and all sparked i pulled the distributor cap off and cranked and the rotor is spinning so as far as i can tell its timed it had spark and fuel although I could be wrong maybe the spark is too weak I don't have a good gauge on whats a strong or weak spark the spark plugs have about 300 miles on them so i think its a good amount of spark. I'm not sure if its a sensor or what but I need help solving this

It could be the fuel pump. That car is 26 years old and it could be that. You said you checked the fuel filter and that was fine but it could be the fuel pump.
