I found a 90s wrecked Harley with a salvage title. I know this is normally a car site but I was wondering if anyone had ant advice on a wrecked bike with a salvage title. Seems in good condition aside from being an old and wrecked bike. Thanks!

It’s in good condition & wrecked at the same time? Can you link/post photos of it?

My advice would be the same for a bike as it is for a car: stay away from salvaged vehicles.

don't know much about motorcycles but what I do know is thats 1. its old 2. its worthless and 3. salvage vehicles tend be mechanical and electrical nightmares

Salvaged motorcycles are a different beast from cars. No where near the amount of electronics as a car. Have a qualified mechanic who knows motorcycles well look it over. The main concern here is the frame and fork. And he may have to remove some things to check it out thoroughly. If the frame wasn’t damaged then you should be fine. If the seller has an issue with your mechanic pulling the gas tank or another part to inspect the frame walk away. A welded or corrected frame is almost never as strong as it was originally. Very few people can fix one correctly. And doing 75 mph wearing a brain bowl or none at all is not a good thing should someones repair fail. Good Luck!

1999 was a good year, if it's still wrecked and building it for yourself, scoop it up and learn a whole bunch.   If you're looking to fix it and flip it, it's not a good investment because aside from the driveline, it has no resale value with a salvage title, and an insurer may not touch you.

Two thumbs down.

1.  Salvage title.

2.AMF took over Harley from 1969 to 1981 and, in my opinion, Harley has never recovered.

If you don't want to "build" a bike, replacing any bent/damaged pieces, there is a thriving market for Harley parts - everything from engines and frames to badges - because there are a LOT of people who do build their own Harleys (other bikes, not so much).
