Hello, I have a 2WD 2000 Nissan XE Frontier Crew Cab 3.3L V6, 5-Speed Manual Transmission, w/ around 230,000miles. It has a check engine light I've been trying to get rid of, scanner reads P0120 as the only code, and whenever its is put into gear (1st/2nd/Reverse) it revs itself up like by like 300rpm (1100-1250rpm). The car idles fairly smooth around 800-900rpm but only revs itself up when you put it into gear. I've replaced the Throttle Position Sensor, Mass Air Flow Sensor, and cleaned the Throttle Body but the code always comes back, pretty quick too. The TPS has 2 connectors with 3 pins, I checked for continuity with my multimeter and found positive or ground on 5 of the 6 pins with the key on the ON position, the very bottom one gives no positive or ground from the connector nor wire itself. My next plan is to go through the wiring harness to see if I can find something wrong there, then if that doesn't work try swapping the computer out with one from the junk, then after that just give up and live with it. What do you think? Also, I live in CA.

Knowing those things it's probably the computer driver circuit meaning you got to replace the whole computer but heck I would buy an oem TPS sensor and pray somehow it's bad and it's feeding back wrong

I put OEM TPS and MAF sensors already and nada 🙁
