Scotty, I snapped my rear passenger tire knuckle and bent the lateral link that connected where knuckle snapped in a nasty highway spinout + swamp crash. Also bent the strut. I replaced the lateral link and strut, waiting to connect it all to the new knuckle.. only problem is the new knuckle is from a junk yard so it is still connected to the hub, but the heat shield is bent bad and the e-brake cord is cut on the new hub/knuckle and the partially disassembled old hub still has the cord connecting it to the car and that's it. I don't want to disassemble the new hub to remove the cut e-brake cord and insert the one connected to my car.. in fear of not being able to reassemble the hub (it seems like an irreversible thing that results in me needing to buy a new hub which I have to do to my current hub anyways if I only use the knuckle from the part from junkyard) and I'm also worried my old hub is perma-locked bc while trying to be pulled out of the water and thru mud, they said the tire affected (rear passenger) wasn't spinning at all. Help!!! Scared Excitement

My advice don't buy crappy use junkyard parts. I stay away from them but you could do things like don't even connect the emergency brake it's only for emergencies anyways there's a lot of stuff you can bypass if you want to save money fixing a car
