Hello, I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited with 167,000 that was given to me a few months ago
When I got it, it shifts/slaps real hard when shifting from Park to Drive and Reverse, vice versa. I have always made sure to shift when the vehicle is at a complete stop. It was also shifting rough while driving.
Recently I changed the transmission fluid and filter and I put a bottle of Lucas Stop Slip in it. It drives real smooth now, but shifting from Park/Reverse/Drive is still making a hard slap.

Personally, I would never buy a Jeep. But it was given to me from my in-laws. It wasn't my vehicle of choice by far, but it's a paid off one that hopefully I can get a few years out of
I have a 2012 Jeep Liberty and the thing that scares me the most is waiting for the day that crap 4 speed those Liberties have give out. Honestly you have done what you can for it. I’d just baby it until the inevitable happens.
I do a lot of driving, but I'm not a hard driver. Hopefully I can baby this for a while
