If the oil level is climbing it's either due to fuel or coolant getting into the oil. (Are you losing coolant? Or was the oil just overfilled when last changed?) If you're smelling gas the evap system is suspect, or you might have drippy fuel injectors. Anything look amiss in live data?

You're very fortunate if that vehicle has lasted 18 years with no serious issues. Engine problems are common on that model, particularly blown/leaking head gaskets.

I did check the oil and it does smell like fuel. it also smells like fuel within the motor area. does a fuel smell mean that its running lean or rich? And could a bad fuel mixture make it read the multiple missfire code? Now what to do???

it has done this every since the throttle boddy was removed and cleaned, not before. the missfire issue anyway

Now what to do???

Further diagnostics of course. Test for a blown head gasket. Analyze live data for problems. If fuel is being dumped into the oil check fuel injectors for leaking excess fuel.

I've changed all the plugs and wires

Did you visually test & confirm for good spark after you did this?

Misfires aren't always caused by ignition components. Have a look at our misfire topic in the FAQ.

How many miles on the vehicle? I wouldn't expect too much life from this Chinese made engine.

How often are you changing the oil? Do you drive short trips?

it simply means there's fuel where it shouldn't be

yes bad mixture can cause misfiring, but it also works the other way. Misfire means the fuel doesn't get burnt and it ends up in the exhaust stream where you can smell it, and see it as soot on the tailpipe.

it could be as simple as someone forgot to plug sensors back in. Hence, a good diagnostic readout might help to quickly narrow down the problem.
