2005 F150 Tire Wear. Front tires are having excessive outside wear.

My two front tires are wearing out in exactly the same way on the outside edges. This suggests a possible issue with the camber, likely caused by either a ball joint or worn struts. Since the problem is occurring on both tires, it seems more likely to be related to the struts.

If the struts are indeed worn, I'm wondering if using camber bolts could help correct the alignment and alleviate the wear.

Given my budget constraints, I'm planning to have the parts ready when I take the car to the shop for an alignment, so the overall cost remains manageable."

What do ya'll think? I want to make sure i am not missing something.

Thank you in advance!

don't buy a bunch of parts you might not need. Post a photo of the tires please

Here is a picture of the tire. It is the same exact on the other side. I know its in the rear but i just rotated them because i had to drive about 120 miles and wanted my best chance to get there and back lol.

it seems more likely to be related to the struts.

pickups don't have struts. They use controls arms and shock absorbers on the front, and leaf springs on the rear.

Struts are structural. Shocks are not.

Are your tires properly inflated to the pressure specified on the "Tire and Loading Information" sticker
