Hello, I have a 2005 Pontiac Vibe and I keep getting the check engine light that's popping up I've already cleaned the mass Mass Air Flow air sensor Sensor and replaced the clock spring per my mechanics advice. However, after doing that the check engine light keeps popping up and I have to delete it before inspection. I'm going to be selling the car in if I could fix it for a couple $100, I think I could get more money.
Should I replace the charcol cannister.
Not sure if it is worth fixing just to sell it not sure if anyone wants to buy a car with permeant check engine light.
I am getting the following codes when the ODB2 at autozone:
P0741: Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off
CodeP0lTl indicatesthattheBank I Systemis toolean for a predetermined periodof time.
Error Codes Read
P0171 Fuel Trim System Lean (Bank l)
P0741 TCC System Stuck Off - Mechanical (4T65-E)
Intake Manifold Gasket - Performance
How It Works:
A flexible gasket material placed between the intake manifold, cylinder head and engine block to provide a good seal between the components
and prevent extemal leaks.
When It Doesn't Work:
A failed gasket can cause coolan! oil, and vacuum leaks.
It will cost more than a couple of hundred dollars to fix those problems, but I would still do it before trying to sell the car. It will make a huge difference in what you can get for it. With those codes pending I would run away quite honestly.
