I have a Toyota Sequoia 2005 with a P1442 (secondary air injection system switching valve No.2 Stuck closed) I took it to a shop to get it fixed and the replaced both valves and hoses they said that’s the air pump is functioning properly however the same code came bay days after. Took it back they technician looked over it said that he didn’t find any faults to run it again but no luck it came back any options on what it could be thank you !
Have you physically checked the valve to see of it really is stuck?
I would take it back as many times as needed to have them repair it at no cost. Obviously there is still an issue happening and they need to make it right.
If they said they fixed it and then the same problem is there, bring it back to them again and make them actually fix it.
