I am getting a code with my Blue Driver app that the camshaft position sensor is faulty. I have replaced this item a few times. Last time I used the factory Denso brand. I talked to Hyundai dealership mechanic and he said the 'oil control valve' could be sending bad information to the camshaft position sensor. I replaced this part a couple years ago. But I did install an aftermarket brand because Hyundai wants $320 for a sensor that I paid $15 for. I think I can get the original brand for about $60. The check engine light came back on immediately after clearing codes. I'm thinking I might have wiring issues? I have no clue how these sensors work? I need this car to pass emissions in the next month. The car works perfectly fine, no other issues. Starts right away. Burns about a quart of oil in 1,000 miles. Any thoughts?

Sounds like you got what you paid for.
