I have an automatic 2006 toyota avalon xls with 136,500 miles on it. It runs great except for the fact that last week my car began to simultaneously turn on the horn, windshield wipers, headlights, rear lights, washer fluid, E-brake light, and abs light out of nowhere. The horn would not stop until the battery was disconnected. This happened for about a week or so and then stopped. But now my radiator fan stopped working, i cant use my horn, my high beams wont work, and 2/3 windshield wiper modes don’t work along with the washerfluid. I’ve tested every relay and fuse in my car, and every fuse is fine, except for the fact that certain ones such as the horn, arent getting any power. Ive called multiple mechanics in my area and nobody knows what’s wrong with the car and want to charge me hefty diagnostic fees. I’ve bridged the cables for the radiator fan so that my car won’t overheat as a temporary fix. So as of right now i can drive my car fine, it’s just inconvenient.
I'm thinking of BCM issues. If you don't know a good mechanic for diagnosis, you can take the car to a Toyota dealership for diagnosis.
