I have a 2007 Nissan Frontier v6 4.0 4WD 120k miles. I went on a trip out of town parked it in a parking lot after driving over 100 miles with no problems at all after 5 days of sitting I go to start up my truck and it won’t start tried multiple times it cranks but won’t start took it to get diagnosed and no compression on one side 90 lb on other side diagnosis is a broken timing chain. Mechanic is recommending to buy a used motor w/60 k on it gonna cost 6-7k would trying to fix timing chain be an option or is it too risky and engine already shot

Now that's too risky cuz those are interference engines of the chain. Bro. Valves are bent. Heads are cracked. Don't try fixing that one. But on the other hand you might try s used the engine

Bummer but thank you for the info !
