Does the Toyota 2007 Yaris manual Gearbox have a breather on it? and if so where is it located. I don't think it really needs one by design and the service manual doesn't mention it for the manual but when i check the gear oil level it's got some vacuum as the bolt comes out so i am curious.

All transmissions differentials and gearboxes I've ever seen have a breather on it somewhere they can't work in a vacuum correctly
thanks mr Scotty, i found it just now under the battery tray. small little silver cap thing, should i be cleaning that like we would with a PCV? carb cleaner perhaps? for preventative maintenance, or just leave it and it will blow pressure out when it really needs to by itself. 😉
