Scotty, love your vids and have tried to watch anything you have about Avalons (especially older ones).  I'm looking to buy my aunt's 2008 Avalon Touring with about 65k miles on it...wondering what you think a fair price is (probably hard to say without seeing it)...but also wondering what would be the big things you'd have checked out before signing on the dotted line.  I don't think it's been driven much in the past year (or maybe 1.5 years).  Thanks!

Those are great cars. If you trust your aunt to have taken care of it and driven it lightly, then it probably has a lot of life left assuming all the maintenance was done regardless of the miles. Inspect it for wear and give an offer to her. IMO on today's inflated market it might go for $8k-$10k but realistically I would offer 5-7. The most common problem according to a helpful member here and Scotty's video on the Avalon is that they are prone to oil leaks which can ruin the engine. Make sure to inspect the car for things like oil leaks and rust. If you are looking for solely Scotty's opinion, it matches with mine that the Toyota Avalon is a premium sedan that is cheap to maintain/repair and reliable like a Toyota but provides the luxury of a Lexus. If all looks good, go ahead and buy it.
