2008 Toyota Yaris Battery drain issue

I have a friend I'm attempting to assist with an issue.  She has a low mileage, well maintained 2008 Toyota Prius with Auto trans and manual everything else.  No remote start, no power locks or windows, basic radio.

She maybe drives it twice a week at most, sometimes it sits for a week or 2 because she has nowhere she needs to go.

Recently she's been having battery issues.  The battery was replaced last year and ran fine.  She drives the car on Thursday, and Friday the battery won't start the car.  A jump start gets her going again, but she can't keep calling AAA to get her mobile.  She notes that while it attempts to start, she doesn't normally lose clock or radio settings.

I plan on stopping by this weekend and looking at the water level in the battery, maybe take it for a check at the auto parts store, and then doing a check for any parasitic drain she might be experiencing.  I'll go the extra step of removing fuses if I see an excessive drain and try to identify the subsystem that's responsible.

Any experience with the Yaris that might be helpful?

Exactly what I would do.

Watching the video Doc mentioned will help also.

Have the alternator load tested.
