Hello!! Highlander has 130K miles on it and there is a low grumbling sound coming from the belt side of the engine, sometimes it also squeaks/scratches, and the 'grumbling' sound is way more obvious once the A/C is turned on. I'm going to start with replacing the belt and go from there. Any other suggestions on what the sound could be? Thank you.

It could be so many things: from belt to pulleys to AC compressor. Remove the belt and check if the noise goes away. Also, check all the pulleys.

Thanks! That's what i'm going to do.
