Hey Scotty, I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla LE with 112,100 miles and an automatic transmission. My car has been idling very low (500-600 RPM) while stopped in drive for the past 5000 miles (2 months) and causes the car to shake. it only does this when the car is warmed up, and it doesn’t happen all the time. It started when my battery was discharging due to a dead alternator, had the alternator and serpentine belt replaced but the problem did not go away. Thank you for the help!
If you have jusr changed the alternator, perhaps the system is just trying to re-learn the idle. That's common for toyotas as I own one.
In contrast, if it's been a while and still has the same issue. Just watch the youtube video of scotty on how you can clean your Throttle body and maf sensor with a spray cleaner.
