Dealership wants to replace catalytic converter - I said clean them but of coarse they won’t di that, told me it was against federal law. I watched your video about cleaning them and I wanted to make sure I can pour the recommended product in the 2010 Jaguar XF- since it’s a V8 high performance car.
It's not against federal law to clean a catalytic converter, they're trying to take you for a $1500+ ride by selling you new cats. I'm not sure on the compatibility between the Jaguar and the cleaner, but you could try running Shell V-Power for a few tanks to see if that will help clean them out. Scotty mentioned a while back he had a customer with inefficient catalytic converters, and the customer randomly changing to gas with extra cleaner made the problem go away.
