Hello! I have a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan with 85,000 miles we bought used in 2013 from Carmax. It has all sorts of issues ranging from electronics to drivetrain. Over the past couple of years, we noticed a problem when the van didn’t want to start sometimes. You would turn the key and it would click and turn the wipers on. Eventually we would get it to work. We replaced the starter 2 years ago, and narrowed it down to the diehard battery. We since replaced the battery with another die hard when we replaced the starter. Today,I shut the van off in a parking lot only to have the same problem but worse. The van reset the clocks and the wipers turned on when I tried to start it. We tried reinserting the key, and messing with the seat and seatbelts and even jump starting! The van seems to just make a click with the lights dimming from the starter but no other noises when I turn the key. It can’t be the battery I’m sure because it was replaced and most of the electronics seemed to work. The power windows rolled up in small burst and the electronic tailgate didn’t want to open electronically. Help!
To begin with that van has had 3 NHTSA recalls.

Your particular problems are typical for a lot of 2011 Caravan owners and it seems to rest with the
Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM)
It's basically the distribution module for nearly the entire electrical system in your van.
It takes commands from various switches and other modules and relays those commands to wherever they need to go.
When it malfunctions your van seems like it's possessed by a demon. Things turn on and off on their own.
