I have a 2011 Nissan Altima 2.5 S that just hit 70k miles and now my transmission speed sensor and ABS sensors stopped working. As a result my speedometer doesn't show my speed or add more millage to my car. I also noticed that every time I accelerate my fuel gauge drops drastically fluctuating from a half full tank to empty and then back up to half full again. All these problems have sprung up within the last few months and I don't know if there is an electrical fault with the car or any other issue that keeps breaking these sensors. I used a BlueDriver to scan my car and here are the codes I got.
- P0500 - Vehicle Speed Sensor "A" Circuit
- B2205-00 - Vehicle speed circuit: No Sub Type Information
- U0415-00 - Invalid Data Received From Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module: No Sub
Type Information - B2601-00 - Shift position: No Sub Type Information
- B260A-00 - Ignition relay: No Sub Type Information
- C1729-00 - Vehicle speed signal error: No Sub Type Information
- P1574 - Automatic Speed Control Device (ASCD) vehicle speed sensor
- P1722 - Vehicle speed signal circuit
- P0826 - M-Mode Switch
- C1104 - Front-left sensor 1
- C1115 - ABS sensor (abnormal signal)
my speedometer doesn't show my speed or add more millage to my car.
Congratulations. You've stopped depreciation 😉
I would try and locate a schematic to see if they’re are any shared grounds for those sensors. A lot of times multiple signal sensors will share a common ground and cause codes and issues
