Hi Scotty my friend, how are you doing?

Thank you for all your great insights and videos on car repairs which gives me inspiration and ideas to repair my own (DIY)!!

I would like your help to repair my 2011 Toyota Highlander Limited transfer case input seal leak - are there several seals that need to be replaced? Please let me know if it is something I could do on my own? Previously it was sweating but now there have been tiny drops on the floor which is NOT always but sometimes just below the transfer case input shaft which is directly below the engine. I have the following tools - stanley rachet set and the jack stand that comes with the highlander. i don't have a torque wrench or any fancy tools. Let me know if it can be done! Detailed steps/instructions will be very helpful. I have done other repairs like changing the door actuators etc. never this complex especially under the vehicle where its required to be raised up. I remember the part where you've mentioned to keep the old transmission fluid and reuse it later as its an old vehicle. I'm not sure how to top it the fluid though in the event i loose some fluid while taking it apart (not sure what transmission fluid goes into this highlander either), which i'm sure will happen. Is there any way to stop the leak without repair? Please help. Thank you a ton & God bless you Sir! Oh and safe travels on your "east coast" tour!

Anyone know how I could get a copy of the 2011 Toyota Highlander Repair and Maintenance Manual with the steps to do this job. This job is a very complicated one as it takes a qualified technician over 20 hours of labour. So its very difficult to do it just by watching a short video without the proper steps and how to avoid any unanticipated issues along the way.

If anyone has access to the Toyota Highlander Repair workshop manual please share....
