Hello,
I live in middle east and I bought car from my friend and I found it very hard to identify car automatic transmission type . Is there a sign or something to identify it ?
Thanks
Call up your dealer with your VIN and they should be able to tell you exactly what you’re looking for.
It's take along time
Open up the hood and look to the right of the engine, you’ll find big letters imprinted into the transmission case.
If it’s A6GF1 congrats
if it’s D6GF1 / D7GF1 / C0GF1 - my condolences.
in case it’s happens to be something else please post it - it’s gong to be interesting
It’s a salvaged 2.0L Nu CVT..

PS. It has an accident history and may be salvaged. Ouch -
sorry I have not seen it
You purchased a vehicle which you haven’t seen and don’t even know the year, make & model?!

I mean the rules.

It's not in the rules.
Everybody who posts a question sees it. You just chose not to read it.
Wikipedia can be very useful. Also, there is often a model number stamped right on the unit.
where ? could send me photo of stamped one
You can also decode the VIN online.
I tried that but some cars the decoder doesn't detail
