Toyota said I needed new control arms because the bushing are worn; can’t I just replace the bushing them self? They’re asking 1300$ for both arms.

Most aftermarket bushings from what I hear are kinda junk and will set you back rather than just straight up replacement of the control arms. You can try OEM toyota bushings but that's like a couple hundred and if you just talking cost, might as well just buy the arms at that point. $1300 is a bit much for me though, have you tried going to another dealer or a trusted independent mechanic?
400 each arm, 500 for for labor, yeah I haven’t found a trusted mechanic yet. Thanks for answering my question!
