2011 Toyota Venza Base Trim Or 2014 Toyota Venza Limited Trim

Hi,

I am in the market for a used car and I am debating between 2 cars, could you please suggest which one would be better.

1. 2011 Toyota Venza AWD Base Trim, Mileage: 27970 Miles (45000 Km), 2.7L - Priced @ 19000 CAD

2. 2014 Toyota Venza AWD V6 Limited Trim, Mileage: 74500 Miles (119500 Km), 3.5L, Power Lift Gate, Heated Seats, MoonRoof etc - Priced @ 18500 CAD

Could you please suggest which one would be better, the 2011 has lesser mileage but the 2014 is the more recent one, is there any advantage of choosing the 2014 over the 2011 mechanically? The 2014 one is obviously a bigger engine but is there any advantage of having a 3.5L engine over the 2.7L one or vice versa?

Really appreciate your help on this.

I would get the V6. The 4 cylinder engine in the Venzas is not as good as the V6. Also, the Venza is a pretty heavy car, you will be much happier with the V6.

I would be leery of the mileage on that 2011 Venza. They’re both good and they’re priced okay, although a bit expensive. I’d definitely have trusty mechanics check out both and test drive both.

I would go with the smaller engine as the vehicle will be cheaper to maintain. The mileage is awfully low. Can it be proved? If so and the vehicle checks out that is the one I would go with.
