I will soon be purchasing a new car and I wanted some insight on a car I’ve had my eyes on. I know you warn against Kias but I’m seeing the Souls have great reviews. For example, mpg 24 city/31 highway. Anything I should consider before buying? Or is it a bust? Any cars I should consider buying instead (under $10,000)?

Well they're not the greatest cars and they're not the worst cars but me I'd buy a Toyota or Honda you'd have to get one that's probably older and have more mileage than the Kia does but it will Outlast that KIA by hundreds of thousands of miles

The 2012 with the 2.0 is actually the Hyundai Beta Engine and is know to easily go 160k miles I actually own one. The 2013+ are decent but get one with low milegae any Kia with more than 60k miles won't be worth to spend that much money on but they can certanly last a while if you don't mind the other things.
