Hey guys, i’m looking to buy my first car and I found this old lady selling her 2012 hyundai elantra limited sedan 4d for $13,000. The car has 46,000 miles on it. What do you think and would you recommend the car? Thank you. ( I can negotiate the price to bring it lower)
NO.
The price is insane for a 10-year-old Elantra. Also those cars are prone to serious engine problems and overall poor quality. I'd run away from that deal.

If you want quality and reliability stay away from Hyundai/Kia products and just don't take the risk.
Reading your question, I am reminded of a quote from Albert Einstein -
"A clever person solves a problem, a wise person avoids it."
Hyundai vehicles are a problem, avoid them.
Einstein never said that, and he wasn't the type of guy to shy away from problems.
But yes, Hyundais are not problems that WE NEED to solve.
