Hello, Thank you for your service and expertise!
We own a 2012 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid with 173k miles. For the last few months, we haven’t been able to depend on our car starting and have to keep a jump starter in the car. We took it to our mechanic of 20+ years and he states there’s nothing wrong with the car. Any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks in advance!

Probably doesn't want to work on it because of one word. Hybrid. Find a mechanic that's familiar with working on hyrbrids.

Who is your mechanic, PeeWee Herman? Find another mechanic who will at least load test your battery and alternator output. Most large auto parts stores will do it for free.
