I have a 2012 Toyota Camry XLE. It runs absolutely fine. I change oil regularly and have replaced brake pads once. I haven't done any service. What major service is required to keep this car in good condition at 100k or 110k miles? Like spark plugs, engine coolant? Is it recommended to do it at Toyota or any other service center is okay. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
That information should be in your owner's manual. However ignore any statements about "lifetime" transmission fluid. (See the FAQ for details on the issue of changing transmission fluid on a high-mileage car). Likewise, ignore recommendations for 10K mile oil and filter changes, always change them at no more than 5K miles or one year, whichever comes first.
Stay away from the dealer, as well as quick lube and chain shops like Jiffy Lube, Pep Boys, Midas, etc. Find a good local mechanic to do your routine service.
Like spark plugs, engine coolant?
Yes.
Have you done the transmission? See the transmission how-to guide at the bottom of the main page.
don't forget to inspect important stuff like steering/suspension.
Since you have a milestone 100k, why not treat your car to a thorough inspection by an experienced mechanic.
a thorough inspection by an experienced mechanic.
You didn't say whether you bought this car new or recently, regardless take @mmj 's advice. Forget taking your Camry to a dealer or to a chain store. The sad truth is choosing either does not ensure quality service work, just that you will pay more than you should.
The advice of a reputable mechanic is your best option here, not the 'shop label'.
Add brake fluid to your check list.
