2013 Nissan Altima 4dr Sdn I4 2.5 S
I just replaced my brakes / ceramic pads about 5-6 months ago. However, the brakes are squeaking when I come to a stop. How do go about fixing the squeaking sound? I tried spray brake cleaner on them, but sound is still there.
Thank you in advance for your time
What brand did you use for your car?
I used CRC 05089 Brakleen Non-Flammable Brake Parts Cleaner
For brakes / pads replacement I used :
Front and Rear Brake Rotors and Performance Ceramic Pads Kit
Qty. Part Description
1 PCD815 Performance Ceramic Brake Pads
1 PCD905 Performance Ceramic Brake Pads
2 R41314 Brake Rotors
2 R41466 Brake Rotors
I tried spray brake cleaner on them, but sound is still there.
Why would you expect brake cleaner to do anything instead of trying this stuff, especially with new pads? ?

Some brands of brake pads are just prone to making noise.
I’ll check it out , thank you.
I've heard of brake dust build-up and contamination causing noise, so it's not out of the question for brake cleaner to help in some situations.
Good point. The "Disc Brake Quiet" product would probably help in that case as well since it prevents the pads from vibrating.
what is it? lubricant? adhesive?
The stuff is applied to the back of the pads and forms a cushion that quells vibrations.
