Hey Scotty. I tried draining the coolant on my equinox (4 cylinder LT) using radiator drain plug, but I was only able to drain half of it (even after turning the vehicle on). Do I also have to drain it from another location? I saw on a website that there is a drain plug on cooling pump. Do I have to drain that as well?

Most cars are like that.
I have found the easiest is to drain whatever comes out (be it only half), and replace it with 50/50 fluid.
Doing this every 3-4 years is more than enough to keep the additives up to snuff, and the corrosion at bay.
Taking other hoses or components apart, or using flush kits to get that last bit is just not worth it.
