What can you tell me about a 2015 Chevy Suburban with about 5.3 l v8 118,010 miles on the dash. Just bought it and the dealer couldn’t tell me if the trans fluid ever been drained. I’m kinda iffy about draining
I can tell you it has AFM which will cause issues. There is an excellent thread on that problem in the FAQ section of the forum right here:

If the trans fluid hasn't been changed, I would take a sample and see how it looks. It should have been done around 60k miles so if it is black you may as well leave it. Transmissions on those tend to go out around 140k - 160k anyway and need replacement.
I'm personally not a fan of them, but to each their own.
