I just purchased a 2015 Accord V6 that is paired with an automatic transmission. The car has 73,000 miles. Unfortunately, I do not know much about the car's service history. I cannot tell when the last time (if ever) the transmission fluid has been changed. I have sen in your videos that these transmissions require frequent changes of their fluid. Since I do not know anything about the flud in this transmission, would you recommend that I go ahead and get the service done now or would I be asking for trouble putting new flud in at this point?

Please see under FAQ as we get these questions on a regular basis. In short, go ahead and change it now including the filter if it’s easily accessible. Use OEM fluid only. Also, it’s advisable to change the transmission fluid every 40,000 miles so stick to that from now on.
