I’ve been starting the process of getting my next car I’ve been looking at sports cars particularly v8 I’ve heard from several people that the 2016 camaro ss is a great sports car in terms of reliability, power, etc I just wanted to know how true that is
What does @mod_man reckon?
Powerful yes, reliable NO.
Electrical issues, engine problems, software glitches, paint issues.....the list is long.
I personally wouldn't recommend one.
What would you recommend for a reliable V8 sports car?
Nothing new. 2005 - 2010 Mustang GT would be my recommendation.
See below: I would avoid them (and the rest of the Big Three so Mustang and Challenger/Charger).

If you want a reliable sports car, with a naturally aspirated V8 from the last few years - my only recommendation would be a Lexus RC-F. They are not as sought after, so you MAY be able to find a decent deal on the used car market (although in this market hard to say).
