When was the last time you changed the ATF?

Inspect the fluid and if it doesn’t have the burnt smell, change it.

Do you mean if it does have burnt smell to change it ?

I think he means that change the fluid if there's burnt smell.

No. If it has burnt smell, you need to be careful. Check the FAQ section on the forum.

I dont think we ever did. Got the car at 65,000 miles and never did since.

Did it hum before the new tires?

Yes. we changed the tires then it went away but the next day its back.

Hope it's something like a wheel bearing and not a drivetrain problem. Jack it up and spin it at all the wheels, if you're lucky it could be the bearing making the noise.

Also check the CV joints. If the boots are ripped and the grease leaked out, it'll make noise.

You did say it just had 4 new tires and an alignment, it's possible they may have screwed something up too.

How do you get to the faq

It's the very first topic on the main page.

I think it’s a wheel bearing because when I’m driving when the noise is there it gets louder when I turn one way when I turn the other way it eases up when I turn the steering wheel to the left the noise gets louder when I turn the steering wheel to the right noise eases up

Do you guys think that would be the wheel bearing also?

Sounds like a wheel bearing..

i took the car to get checked because of the noise and i was told that the 2 front bearings were bad. so i purchased 2 bearings from partsgeek.com when they came in i took it to the mechanic shop and had them changed out. the car is still making the same noise that it did prior to having them changed out. the mechanic that changed them out said the the bearings have something wrong with them. i did only purchased them brand new but they were only $54 each. the mechanic said that the noise is caused because they are cheaply made. can someone please tell me would cheaply made bearings would make that sound if they are cheaply made? or could it be something else that would make that sound? even tho the mechanic said that their no good I don't see 2 brand new ones of them be defective help please lol.

can you tell if the hum comes from the front/rear, left/right?

it sounds like the front left and right

put the front wheels on the back

all the tires are new. I don't think that wouldn't matter.
