Hi,
I recently bought a 2016 Lexus RX450h with 60,000 miles. The other day while I was installing a trailer hitch, I removed the plastic cover underneath and I discovered a ton of rust all throughout the bottom of the car. The carfax says the car was in Massachusetts the whole time it was owned, so I'm assuming the rust is from all the snow and salt. I was planning on keeping the car for a very long time (10+ years). Is there anything I can do to reverse/fix the current rust issue or at least prevent it from becoming worse? Here's some pictures of the car: https://imgur.com/gallery/EKRhoSl
Best regards,

If that little bit of surface rust bothers you, sand it smooth and spray it with Rustoleum Rust Reformer.
it looks like the rust is limited to that one cross-member. If it gets bad enough (ie rusting through) then you could just replace it.
