Hi, I’m hoping to purchase a scion iM base on Monday (2 days from now) and wanted to know if paying $12700 (10,488 before taxes) after taxes is worth it. It has 76,000Km on it and no accidents. The car is on cargurus.ca and this is my first car which I plan on having it for a while and my max budget is 10K.
It is basically a E180 Toyota Auris/ Corolla. If you like it go ahead they are great car's/

Thank you that was helpful!
Ur welcome just remember the Toyota Corolla Hatchback (i think 2019) has transmission issues and Scotty said this but the Scion IM was an excellent car if you dont mind the 2014-2016 Corolla.
My only suggestion is to see if the car has any sort of maintenance history. You most likely won't have any problems or issues. But I feel it's always better to be more careful than not as a friend of mine recently bought a civic from a second hand dealership and already dumped money into fixing the junker without telling me at the time. If she asked me that day to go with her, I woulda told her how much she was scammed just because of the civics reputation the dealership sold to her.

Thanks according to the dealer it has no accidents but I will take it to the mechanic before purchase
In canada people must drive less because that is 45k miles and that is VERY LOW for a Corolla. (a scion im is a 2016 Corolla they are the same underneath). Here in the US most of them for sale are like 120.000 miles (200.000 km). I would jump on it assuiming an INDEPENDENT mechanic says everything is fine. I would pay less though, but considering is Canadian dollar's that is a good deal (but not too good to be true bc that is the case with some Toyota's).
