Hey Scotty
My girlfriend's 2017 EcoBoost Mustang has an annoying squeaking sound that's coming from the rear end. She has the lower profile factory tires, and she blew the right rear tire hitting a pothole on the highway about 18 months ago. She had the tire replaced, and we noticed a squeak gradually starting a few months later. I identified it as a busted shock, because it would squeak when that wheel was disturbed. She had the dealership replace it during an oil change. The sound stopped for a few months, and then came back. The dealership then said it was a sway bar link, and replaced it. It did not fix the noise, and they claim to not hear the sound. The sound gets much worse when it's raining, and only happens when driving on bumpy roads. What would be causing this? I can't seem to replicate the noise by bouncing the rear end up and down manually.
