2017 Honda Civic Brake Clicking (maybe?)

Hi guys! Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

My 2017 Honda Civic 2.0l I-vtec just had a brake job done by yours truly, and it was a clean install. Installed Bosch pads and quietcast rotors. Bedding went well, and everything seemed good. Car has 76k miles and has been taken care of and garage kept. However, shortly after the brake install, every time I press the brakes, I hear a single and pronounced “clank” or “click” that sounds like metal on metal. It doesn’t matter how hard or soft I hit the brakes, and it happens on the driver’s side only. It’s only one click, and it sounds like it’s the pads sticking at a bad angle in the hardware and then slamming shut when the piston engages. I’ve taken the system apart and re-greased everything and put new boots and grease on the guide pins. No abnormal or uneven wear on the pads or rotors. Everything is torqued down properly. So strange. I’ve checked the integrity of the ball joints on the control arms and the tie rods seem to be stable. The CV joints click a bit at full turn and acceleration, but nothing crazy. The click happens on 90% of brake engagements, and especially after hitting a bump and then engaging the brake. Any ideas?

Video included - I tried to replay the sound multiple times in the video.

Well if it didn't do it before then you just got brake pads that aren't made perfectly a few thousands of an inch off and they will click
