Hi all,

My SIL's 2017 Lexus GS350 F Sport push gas door is stuck closed with all doors unlocked. Pushing around different spots of the gas door did not work, and it acted as if it was still locked (There was no usual ease of pushing in the cap). Both the vehicle trunk release from inside the cabin and the key fob do not work. They have been accessing the gas door through the emergency release in the trunk, but would like to have it fixed (Preferably DIY). I tried looking online for solutions to the issue and through this forum but have found nothing for Lexus. Just wondering if anyone has been experiencing this problem and had it fixed on their own or could help provide insight on this. Thank you kindly.
