Hello there,
Ive got a 2018 Kia Optima LXS 2.4L naturally aspired with 51k miles on it with an automatic transmission, i bought it for 12k at 45k miles, ive noticed it before but didnt think much of it till i got here and think it might be something with the transmission. sometimes when i slow down from roughly 30-40mph down to 10mph to make a turn for example, the car jerks then slows down, like the gear shift was not smooth at all, should i be concerned? or is it typical wear and tear? (i was thinking of changing the transmission fluid within the next 10k miles)

Typical wear and tear on those things. They're not the greatest vehicles. Just baby and see how long it lasts. I would change the fluid if you can. It might help a little
