Hey Scotty my sister bought a 2019 Honda fit 1.5L Lx automatic with 34,000 miles. But I checked under the hood it didn’t say it has a 1.5T on it just 1.5. I told her about the oil dilution since being 1.5 and to change it to every 5,000 miles fully synthetic, I was wondering what oil type 0w-16 or 0w-20 should I to prevent oil dilution so I can let her know.

Use oil with the GF6 certification, that matches the oil viscosity in your owners manual.

Check out this video; Scotty talks about Honda turbocharged engine and oil to use:

Use oil with the correct viscosity.

That car does not have a Turbo. The oil dilution problem for Honda is mainly for the ones that have both the GDI and turbo. Do you have the gas smell in the oil?

Just use the oil which the owner’s manual recommends.

I’ve never seen a Fit which came with a turbo, from the factory..
