2020 camry le electric issue

I have a 2020 camry le that has developed what seems to be a short. I jumped my car to take it to a Toyota dealership for diagnostic, all came back with passing colors. No error codes and strong battery. The vehicle has died twice in three days, but at the dealership it never died. They had it for four days with zero issues. It also lost some coolant within the time I've owned it. Which I asked about and again the dealer responded with it seems all is normal. There was a few times in which I smelt sweetness from the vents. What is my options? Should I just trade it in? It has 17,871miles on it. I bought it new with 3miles. I don't have cash to waste and looking for help. I do have other information if interested. Thank you, sir for your time.

How much are you getting offered for it? More than the purchase price?

I haven't gone down that road yet. Just looking for advice on the topic.

Well you smell cool and so obviously something is leaking if you smell it in advance it could be a leaking heater core but that's really rare in a Toyota. Ask for a dying strangely enough have the battery load tested sometimes a week battery will do that but if it's not that it should still be under warranty make videos of it when it does die take it to them and say fix it or give me another car. But again if you can sell it for a high enough price and you don't lose much money with the market today go ahead and do that. I find it rather odd though I've never seen that with such a late model Camry

Thanks for the help. And again, thanks for your time.

A one year old car and it already sucks.  Pretty discouraging.

And a Toyota Camry of all vehicles!  But I agree with Scotty on next course of action.

That sucks, I would expect that from a GM or Stellantis product, but not from a well-known Toyota Product. That's honestly kinda sad.

I got the Toyota after having a 2014 impala for having an electrical issue with the heater not coming on. And now, I have this. Sigh.

yeah..

Ik all quality is going downhill (although the few brands are getting better quality-wise), but Toyota is among those that are going downhill. The current-gen Camry has been a mixed bag from transmission issues and now I have come across the electrical issue u have. They are just not as good as the 2015-2017 Camrys which I have a soft spot for. My friend has a 2015 Camry XLE 4 cylinder and it's been a great car with no troubles, just regular maintenance.

Dude, that's all I want. Your friend seems to have been blessed.
