I’ve got a 2020 Toyota Highlander XLE with 96K miles on it. It’s making a medium pitch whining noise when accelerating. Has been doing this for the last 20k miles or so. Seems to have gotten a little louder recently. No other symptoms, drives perfectly fine. Is this something to be concerned about? What could be causing the noise?

Well you have to pinpoint the noise. Watch my video finding the source of car noises. Scotty. You can buy a machine like that though. Not a wireless one but one with wires for about 70 bucks on Amazon. Then you can see where the noise is coming from. It could be the engine could be the transmission
