I have a 2020 Rav4 LE with less than 6,000 miles on it. Today I noticed that when I have the heat selected to the floor only, it also comes out of the vent on the dash right next to the door. It does this on both sides, and does not blow at all from the center two vents (right below the center screen). It is not a low flow of air, maybe 1/2 as much as what is coming out of the floor vent. This seems abnormal. Any thoughts?

I believe it’s normal. Side vents are there to keep side windows from fogging up. It’s all computers, you know? Note: … more I look into those latest RAV4s, I find them so, … so very complex!
