Can you please make a video reviewing the 2021 Lexus IS?

In particular I would like to know your thoughts regarding the 6-speed transmission, paired to the RWD, and the 8-speed AWD. Also, I believe Lexus may be reviving the “F” models in the near future. I would love to own an IS with the 2UR-GSE (5.0L NA V8). I’m having an internal tug-of-war between practicality/sensibility and the fulfillment of what I truly desire of a sport sedan (A few years back I wanted to buy an Audi S4, but then I discovered your channel and ended up buying an RX 350, now that I have two kids haha).

I know you’ve also suggested avoiding V8s in the past, related to difficulty changing the starter*(if I remember correctly). Rumors have also referred to the possibility of a Twin-turbo V6 (IS 500?). Much of it is speculation, but I’d very much be interested to hear your thought comparing and contrasting the two potential engines. Obviously, NA is more reliable, but with it being Lexus engineering would that make a difference? Anyway, you’re essentially the Dave Ramsey of cars, as far as I am concerned. Thanks for reading this, and thanks to you and your team for providing good, honest, information to all of us!

Dave Ramsey, D-Bag Extraordinaire.... {black}:vomited:   Hate that jerk. Very happy to see the truth coming out about him and his church/business ethics. Hope he goes under.

At any rate, no matter who makes the motor N/A will always be less strained than a forced induction motor, so longevity will always be a pro for N/A motors.

I'm not a fan of twin-turbos on a V6 motor. You are putting a ton of stress on the engine and most people are heavy footed when driving a car with that kind of power, meaning the lifespan of major components is significantly shortened.

If you are going to track the car or drive on icy roads, AWD is better than RWD. Otherwise RWD is more fun since you can kick the tail out, etc.

Just my thoughts on it.
